1. Get outside for 5-15 minutes daily. Direct sunlight on your face helps to reset your internal clock, which in turn improves your sleep quality and makes you feel more rested and awake during the day.
2. Drink enough water. Dehydration means that your body has to work harder to get enough water to your brain and other organs. So stay hydrated! :)
3. Get moving - even a short, brisk walk can make you feel energized and more alert.
4. Power nap - if you have some time, try napping for 10-30 minutes. It might just give you that boost you need!

6. Inhale some essential oils. Peppermint and citrus essential oils can give you an energy boost and help with focus and concentration.
7. Listen to some upbeat music to get you pumped for your day.
8. At the end of your shower....do a quick 30 second cold water rinse - that's a sure way to get the blood flowing and your body feeling more awake! :)
9. Stay awake from coffee. Most people head straight for the coffee for that morning boost. However, coffee has the downside of causing a drop in energy after the caffeine has worn off. Try a green tea, water with fresh lemon, a herbal tea with ginseng or a fresh smoothie.
